STUDI DI CHITARRA ELETTRICA
Lorenzo Gusinu nasce il 14 agosto del 1992 a Brescia.
All'età di 15 anni decide di iniziare a studiare chitarra elettrica con passione e serietà sin dal principio.
Da febbraio 2008 a giugno 2009 prende le sue prime lezioni di chitarra elettrica dall’insegnante privato Maurizio Viola.
Nel luglio 2009 decide di intraprendere la strada professionale di chitarrista iscrivendosi al corso intensivo del prestigioso Modern Music Institute nella sede di Gussago (Bs) diretta dal docente e Direttore Francesco Fisogni con cui studia per 3 anni superando con ottime votazioni l'esame del Livello Base, Intermedio ed Avanzato specializzandosi nel rock/metal.
Dal 2012 al 2016 ha continuato il suo percorso didattico a San Giovanni Lupatoto (Vr) con il Presidente del Modern Music Institute Alex Stornello con cui ha focalizzato i suoi studi sulla fusion.
LEZIONI SPECIALI, MASTERCLASS E CLINIC
Nel 2010 è uno dei 12 studenti in tutt'Italia che hanno partecipato al "Rock Metal Guitar Masterclass" all'AMM di Modena studiando per 3 giorni 6 ore al giorno con Kiko Loureiro.
Ha seguito una lezione privata con Tony MacAlpine ed una con Bryan Baker nella sede MMI di Verona.
Nel 2014 ha seguito una lezione privata con Michael Angelo Batio in occasione del Summer Shred-Camp 2014 dove ha seguito anche diverse lezioni di docenti del MMI: Andrea Martongelli, Francesco Fisogni, Mirco Dimitrio e Fabio Mosconi.
Durante questi anni di studio Lorenzo partecipa a moltissime Clinic e Masterclass: di Dave Hill (in 2 diverse occasioni di cui in una come traduttore), Marty Friedman, Reb Beach, Uli Jon Roth, Yngwie J. Malmsteen, Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Scott Henderson, Dave Martone, Guthrie Govan, Greg Howe, Marco Sfogli, Gus G., Tosin Abasi, Mattias Eklundh, Andy James, Ola Englund ed altri.
STUDI COMPLEMENTARI
Ha frequentato corsi accademici complementari di Home Recording con Andrea Martongelli e Giorgio Terenziani nel 2010, con Francesco Fisogni e Marco Fogliata nel 2011.
Da gennaio 2013 a settembre 2014 ha seguito il corso di Davide Rossi, coordinatore nazionale del corso MMI di Recording.
Da marzo 2013 a luglio 2014 segue anche il corso di specializzazione denominato "Daniele Gottardo Guitar System" tenuto dal Maestro Daniele Gottardo nella sede del Modern Music Institute di Padova.
INSEGNAMENTO DI CHITARRA ELETTRICA
Nell'ottobre del 2012 supera l'esame abilitativo all'insegnamento del Livello Base del Modern Music Institute ed inizia ad insegnare nel centro abilitato MMI di Salò
Da agosto 2013 a settembre 2016 é entrato a far parte del corpo docenti del Modern Music Institute di Brescia diretto da Francesco Fisogni.
Ha insegnato come docente abilitato MMI anche presso Bedizzole.
Dal 2017 ha insegnato privatamente, collaborando con realtà del territorio.
CONCORSI, LIVES, VIDEO
Ha partecipato a dei videoconcorsi e nel 2013 è uno dei 70 semifinalisti del "Mayones & Seymour Duncan Regius Competition" scelto da una giuria di esperti, tra cui Keith Merrow, su oltre 2000 chitarristi provenienti da tutto il mondo.
L'8 settembre 2013 grazie al Modern Music Institute di Alex Stornello suona una propria composizione nella 9a edizione del MAF Guitar Festival a Fiorano nel castello di Spezzano durante il "MMI Guitar Attack" con alcuni dei migliori musicisti italiani: Giuseppe Motta, Claudio Pietronik, Mike Pelillo, Andrea Martongelli, Vanny Tonon, Gianluca Ferro, Elia Garutti, Mirco Dimitrio, Simone Caputo Atzori e Marco Mazzuoccolo. Ospite d'eccezione: Frank Gambale.
L’11 aprile 2015 grazie a Francesco Fisogni ha la possibilitàdi fare una jam con Paul Gilbert presso il Gasoline Road Bar di Brescia.
Il 26 settembre 2016 ha la possibilità di fare una jam con Steve Vai presso il Teatro Cinema Astra di San Giovanni Lupatoto (Vr).
Nell'ottobre del 2016 è uno dei primi 10 classificati dell'Ibanez Flying Fingers Contest 2016 in Europa.
Negli anni ha ricevuto apprezzamenti da artisti di fama internazionale. Nel 2020 Brett Garsed ha definito un video di sua cover del brano "Undoing" un "gran lavoro".
ALTRO
Nel 2014 consegue la Laurea Triennale in Consulente del Lavoro presso l’Università degli Studi di Giurisprudenza a Brescia con votazione 110/110 con Lode discutendo una Relazione Finale riguardante il “Contratto di Edizione Musicale“.
ELECTRIC GUITAR’S STUDIES
Lorenzo Gusinu was born on august 14th 1992 in Brescia (Italy).
When he was 15 he decided to begin to study electric guitar with passion and a great commitment since the beginning.
From February 2008 to June 2009 he had his first lessons with the private teacher Maurizio Viola.
During summer 2009 he decided to undertake the professional way of guitar player enrolling in an intensive course of the well known Modern Music Institute in Gussago (Bs), directed by the professor and Director Francesco Fisogni with whom he's been studying for three years passing with great results the Basic Level exam, the Intermediate Level exam and the Advanced Level exam with specialization in rock/metal.
From 2012 to 2016 he kept studying in San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona) with the president of the Modern Music Institute Alex Stornello with whom he focused his studies in fusion.
SPECIAL LESSONS, MASTERCLASSES AND CLINICS
In 2010 he was one of the 12 italian students that took part in the ’Rock Metal Guitar Masterclass’ at the AMM in Modena, studying 6 hours per day for three days with Kiko Loureiro, famous guitar player of the group Angra.
He followed private lessons with Tony MacAlpine and Bryan Baker at the MMI Verona.
In 2014 the Modern Music Institute gave him the chance to follow a private lesson with Michael Angelo Batio during the Summer Shred-Camp 2014. In this Camp he also followed some lessons with different teachers of MMI: Andrea Martongelli, Francesco Fisogni, Mirco Dimitrio and Fabio Mosconi.

COMPLEMENTARY STUDIES
He has attended courses of home recording with Andrea Martongelli and Giorgio Terenziani in 2010, with Francesco Fisogni and Marco Fogliata in 2011.
From January 2013 to September 2014 he took lessons with Davide Rossi, the national coordinator of MMI’s Recording course.
From March 2013 until July 2014 he also attends the specialist course Daniele Gottardo Guitar System with the Maestro Daniele Gottardo at the location of the Modern Music Institute in Padova.
TEACHING ELECTRIC GUITAR
In October 2012 he passed the exam for teaching and he began his career as a teacher at the MMI in Salò.
From August 2013 to September 2016 he became one of the teachers of MMI in Brescia under the supervision of Francesco Fisogni.
He also taught in Bedizzole enabled by Modern Music Institute.
Since 2017 he has taught privately, collaborating with local realities.
CONTESTS, LIVES, VIDEO
He joined some video contests and in 2013 he was one of the 70 semifinalists of the ’Mayones and Seymour Duncan Regius Competition’ chosen by a jury of experts like Keith Merrow from all over the world.
In September 2013 the President of Modern Music Institute Alex Stornello gave to him the opportunity to play his own composition during the 9th edition of the MAF Guitar Festival at Fiorano in Spezzano Castle during the "MMI Guitar Attack" with some of the best Italian musicians: Giuseppe Motta, Claudio Pietronik, Mike Pelillo, Andrea Martongelli, Vanny Tonon, Gianluca Ferro, Elia Garutti , Mirco Dimitrio, Simone Caputo Atzori and Marco Mazzuoccolo. Special guest: Frank Gambale.

In 2014 he got a University Degree (3 years) in Labour Consultant of Law in Brescia 110/110 with Honors discussing a Final Report on “Music Publishing Contract“.
